Egypt's Outcome the Future of America?

Egypt’s military took control of the country today as Hosni Mubarak resigned his presidency after 18 days of massive protest against his autocratic 30 year reign. The crowd of protesters that filled Cairo for the past few weeks filled were overcome with joy and cheered as the news came through. United States Vice President Joe Biden called this event "a pivotal moment in history." Mubarak is a billionaire while many of Egyptian citizens live in poverty and 90% of the unemployed are under 30 years old. The Swedish government announced that they would be freezing Mubarak's Swiss bank accounts. The rest of the world is now looking to other Middle Eastern countries to see if there will be more ordinary citizens who will be demanding the same human rights. Egypt is the most populated country in the Middle East and with its 80+ million citizens, it is the third most populated country in Africa.

While the citizens of Egypt are happy now, there is still a lot of work to be done. The military will need a strong, honest leader, otherwise another Mubarak will take power and nothing will have changed. Many people seem to think that since Egyptians protested, one day, if need be, Americans could do the same thing. If Americans were to protest the Obama administration, he could easily enforce martial law and all hell would break loose. He is the key to the New World Order. It is coming whether we like it or not. We must prepare, physically, mentally and spiritually for this new age.
