Ted Haggard (emphasis on his last name) is finally admitting to himself and the world that he is a bisexual man. Haggard famously cheated on his wife with a gay escort named Mike Jones, who in November 2006, told the media of their three year, methamphetamine fueled affair. A few days later, Haggard resigned from his leadership position at his church. Even after being caught, Pastor Ted, as he is known by his congregation, continued lying about the events leading up to his resignation. His wife stayed by his side throughout his denial of being a homosexual man. Instead, he had a pastor from his church tell the media that after counseling, Ted was "completely heterosexual." Ted maintained himself that he was a "heterosexual with issues."Haggard continues to be unsupportive of the gay community, hiding behind his faith. Oh, well...he isn't the first closet case to marry some poor unasuming woman and he won't be the last. Let's just hope he doesn't continue preaching that homosexuality is a sin because he should know more than anyone that you don't choose who you are attracted to.
